The double room was comfortable and roomy, and the cute chocolates on the pillows were a nice touch. The bathroom facilities were clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped.
We did not receive a response to our text about our late arrival and got a grunt from a staff member when handing in the key the next morning. The noise from a fellow guest at 3am was disruptive.

Hard to think of anything.

The kitchen at this hostel is fully equipped with a great variety of baking and cooking tools. It is always clean and well-maintained. The living room and dining area, although small, are cozy and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are also kept clean. the hostel is conveniently located, only a 20-minute walk to the town center.
The breakfast included in the stay was not as expected. There was not much available in the kitchen early in the morning when we needed to leave.

The hostel I stayed in was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly. They offered nice complementary breakfast, with real bread and spreads. the outdoor facilities were great and the bed was very comfortable. the location was perfect for me, not too far from the city center, and with a great beach nearby.
The kitchen was a bit small and busy at dinner time. it was a bit inconvenient that the hostel was a bit far from the city center if you didn't have a car.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a backpackers in Nelson. The staff at Bug Backpackers were very friendly and helpful, providing me with a free pickup from the bus station. The hostel itself is well-organized, with easy late check-in and clear instructions on finding keys and information. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, and I enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the city center. I particularly loved the unique touch of each room having a name and picture on the door, adding character to the hostel. Additionally, the free bicycle hire was a fantastic bonus, allowing me to explore the area easily.
Nothing could have been better! ✨

From the cute towel shapes to the delicious freshly baked bread in the morning, it's clear that the owners really care about making your stay special. Another great aspect is the location - just off the cycle path, it's perfect for exploring the town and surrounding areas.

During Easter, I had a great time staying at a small backpackers. It was so good that I will definitely be returning. The room, which I shared with other people, was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. I loved having my own shelf, reading light, and even two pillows. The kitchen was well-equipped, with lots of space in both the fridges and boxes for food. The shared garden was perfect for sitting and enjoying the good weather. The hotel's friendly staff were always available to answer any questions too.
That the hotel turned off the wifi after 10.30 pm, which was frustrating at times. However, it wasn't really a big issue because the rest of the stay was so enjoyable.

And to top it off, the breakfast included options like peanut butter or jam, which was a nice touch.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and had comfortable beds, nice bed linen, and fresh towels. The private bathroom was very modern and clean. The attention to detail was evident in the individualized decorations in each room, creating a personal and unique atmosphere. The location was great, being close to everything but still in a quiet and pretty area. There was also a lovely outdoor area to sit and relax in the evenings. the hotel offered excellent value for money.
The only slight downside was that the breakfast consisted of basic bread and jam, but it changed every day and there was a variety of breads and spreads available.
